Wieso reden wir von einer Care-Krise? Und was hat diese mit dem Kapitalismus zu tun? Am Samstagabend tragen wir aus verschiedenen Perspektiven zusammen, wieso die jetzigen Verhältnisse nicht haltbar sind. Gegenseitig machen wir uns Mut für den Weg in eine Gesellschaft, in der nicht länger Gewinnmaximierung, Macht und Konkurrenz im Zentrum stehen – sondern das Ziel, allen Menschen ein gutes Leben zu ermöglichen.

Wo wollen wir hin und wie schaffen wir das? Am Sonntagspodium gehen wir auf die konkreten Zukunftsvisionen ein, die wir über das Wochenende kennen gelernt haben und wollen gemeinsam ausblicken in eine Zukunft, wo Care-Arbeit gerechter verteilt und für alle zugänglich ist – in eine Gesellschaft, die solidarisch nach menschlichen Bedürfnissen sich orientiert. Welche Widerstandsformen können wir also einer Prekarisierung und Vereinzelung von Care-Arbeitenden entgegenbringen? Welche konkreten und gelebten Utopien gibt es schon jetzt und wie entwickeln wir diese, um eine Gesellschaft zu erreichen, die Care, den zentralen Stellenwert zuspricht, welche sie eigentlich hat?
Kurz, wie arbeiten wir auf eine Care-Revolution hin und welche Veränderungen soll sie bringen?

Why are we talking about a care crisis? And what does it have to do with capitalism? On Saturday evening, we will discuss from different perspectives why the current situation is not sustainable. We will encourage each other to move towards a society in which profit maximisation, power and competition are no longer at the centre – but the goal of making a good life possible for all people.

Lived Utopias and Resistance

Where do we want to go and how do we do it? On the Sunday panel, we will look at the concrete visions of the future that we learned about over the weekend and want to look forward together to a future where care work is distributed more fairly and is accessible to all – to a society that is oriented towards human needs in solidarity. What forms of resistance can we offer against the precarisation and isolation of care workers? What concrete and lived utopias already exist and how do we develop them in order to achieve a society that gives care the central place it actually has?
In short, how do we work towards a care revolution and what changes should it bring?
